Maui Bed and Breakfast - Maui What a Wonderful World Bed and Breakfast

I see trees of green ...
And blue oceans too ...
White sands that sparkle ...
For me and for you ...
And I think to myself ...

Maui Bed and Breakfast - Maui What a Wonderful World Bed and Breakfast

Maui What A Wonderful World Breakfast B & B is located in Kihei, on the south-west side of the island of Maui.

Much of the charm and appeal of South Maui is derived from a combination of relaxed pace, and a less "touristy", more authentic, experience of the island. This is the driest part of the island; Kihei boasts more sunshine year-round than any other part of Maui! With the West Maui mountains to the west and Heleakala to the east, South Maui is also very picturesque.

As much as South Maui is relaxed, there is still plenty to do in the immediate and surrounding areas ...

Maui Bed and Breakfast - Maui What a Wonderful World Bed and BreakfastThis area is home to many beautiful beaches, and you have a choice of at least half a dozen within a 5-minute drive of Maui What A Wonderful World B & B. Imagine going for a short drive or walk down to the ocean and watching a gorgeous sunset every single evening. The Hawaiian sunsets are extraordinary, and they are a part of every day life here! The beaches also offer top-notch snorkeling (the best on the island), and shore sports such as skim boarding and boogie boarding are very popular.

Whale and dolphin watching is a unique part of the island experience; winter visitors will thrill to the sight of whales swimming and cavorting in the ocean nearby, as they visit these waters for their breeding season.

There are many shops and restaurants here, some along the beach on South Kihei Road, and others in modern malls which are tucked discreetly into outlying areas close by. Whether you are simply looking for convenience or more of a luxurious experience in shopping and dining, there is something in the immediate area for everyone!

MORE ABOUT THE ISLAND OF MAUI

Maui offers the perfect balance relaxation and activity; you could easily consider it to be the perfect Hawaiian island! Due to the size of the island, everything the island has to offer is within a comfortable driving distance; you can take a day trip somewhere every day and do something different ...

The island offers quaint and interesting towns, such as the historic port town of Lahaina, which is a half-hour drive from South Maui. You can easily spend a whole day here shopping, visiting the historic buildings and perhaps going out on one of the numerous boat cruises, whether it be for a romantic dinner cruise or a snorkeling and dolphin watching excursion.

Besides the shore sports described above, there are numerous surf and dive shops on the island, with experts who would only be too glad to show you the ropes! If you would like a more passive experience of the underwater world, you can choose to visit the Maui Ocean Center, or take a submarine tour.

The Hana Highway on the east side of Maui is a popular sight-seeing drive, perfect for those who appreciate the scenic splendor of lush greenery, waterfalls and spectacular ocean views.

Haleakala Crater offers many diverse activities, such as hiking and biking excursions, horseback riding and helicopter tours into the crater. The sunrise on the top of Haleakala is a must-see if you have the time ... You can go on your own, but there are also many companies in the area that offer morning excursions up to the mountain, complete with breakfast after the sunrise. If you are feeling energetic, you can also bike ride back down the mountain with your group. (It's all downhill, so all you have to do is enjoy the fantastic scenery!)

So there you have it... a taste of Maui, one of the most beautiful and fun places in the world to visit. We hope we will see you here soon!
