Guava Suite’s Relaxing Outdoor Space

Waking one morning, Jim decided that there was something missing from the guests experience at Maui What A Wonderful World, Bed and Breakfast. He decided the guests in the Guava Suite deserved to have an outside sitting area to enjoy the Maui breezes and the Maui sunshine as much as all other suites did.  He began digging up and replanting he Maui Ginger planted outside the suite and made a beautiful little sitting area. Now guests in the Guava Suite at our bed and breakfast can enjoy their own private outside relaxing area just outside their door.

Bed and Breakfast guests dine in style

I am updating this post. We dined here again a week or so ago. It was great as ever and I have taken new pictures to show just how beautiful this place is. Mama’s Fish House is at the far end of Paia. About a 30 minute drive puts you on a beach just about the other side of the island from this South Maui Bed and Breakfast were Maui Bed and Breakfasts guests dine in style.

We, Jim and Eva, left our Maui Bed and Breakfast to dined with good friend last night at Mama’s Fish House in Paia.

Just doesn’t matter how many time you dine over there in Paia at Mama’s Fish House it is always wonderful. Of course we have never veered off course so we can only vouch for the one dish we get. EVERY TIME we go.

The crab and lobster stuffed Mahi Mahi is out of this world.

Unfortunately, this picture does not do the dish justice. We usually add the fresh Ahi Sashimi for an appetizer (pupu), and finishing it off with (although most people rave about the Tahitian Pearl) the Kuau Mud Pie! We ate them so fast, there was no time for pictures, oops!

We have to thank our good friends Rob and Joanne for sharing the evening with us. Good food, good friends, what more could one ask for?

New Pineapple Suite Revealed

We have been working since early Maui to remodel all of the suite at our Maui Bed and Breakfast. We have just finished the final suite. Now all four are remodel with a brand new look.

For those of you who have seen the Pineapple Suite in the past but don’t remember, and for those of you who did not see the original, Here is a picture of the Pineapple Suite at Maui What A Wonderful World, Bed and Breakfast previous to the recent remodel:

Paia Fish House is a favorite of ours for lunch.

As Bed and Breakast hosts we are constantly looking for great spots to send our guests, but some of the old favorites continue to in out.

Although Jim usually sticks with the salad, every once in a while Eva has to go for some delicious fish and chips

What a great lunch.

We have been sending guests of the B&B here for years. We still think it is one of the best lunches on Maui!

Dining Out at Honu

Jim and I went to one of our old stand by, favorite restaurants in Lahaiana. Not too far from our B&B. We go to Honu (turtle in Hawaiin) in Lahaina for lunch and turtle sitings often. Taking about 45 minute on this beautiful island drive between Kihei in South Maui to Lahaina in West Maui.

Definitely one of our favorites.

We always get a pizza, and usually the lobster mac and cheese! Yum

Honu sits right on the water’s edge, Great for turtle viewing. There were actually quite a few in the water this day, but my camera did not pick them up

We get great comments from our bed and breakfast guests when we send them here.
