I am updating this post. We dined here again a week or so ago. It was great as ever and I have taken new pictures to show just how beautiful this place is. Mama’s Fish House is at the far end of Paia. About a 30 minute drive puts you on a beach just about the other side of the island from this South Maui Bed and Breakfast were Maui Bed and Breakfasts guests dine in style.

We, Jim and Eva, left our Maui Bed and Breakfast to dined with good friend last night at Mama’s Fish House in Paia.
Just doesn’t matter how many time you dine over there in Paia at Mama’s Fish House it is always wonderful. Of course we have never veered off course so we can only vouch for the one dish we get. EVERY TIME we go.
The crab and lobster stuffed Mahi Mahi is out of this world.

Unfortunately, this picture does not do the dish justice. We usually add the fresh Ahi Sashimi for an appetizer (pupu), and finishing it off with (although most people rave about the Tahitian Pearl) the Kuau Mud Pie! We ate them so fast, there was no time for pictures, oops!
We have to thank our good friends Rob and Joanne for sharing the evening with us. Good food, good friends, what more could one ask for?
